SkillUp offers SNAP recipients opportunities to gain skills, training, or experience, reducing dependency on public assistance. Referrals are accepted from any source, with short-term training geared towards rapid employment.

The LEAP (Linking Employment Activities Pre-Release) is a CPSEMO initiative funded by a Department of Justice grant.

It serves individuals preparing to transition from jail or prison, providing them with job training, life skills, and personalized support to ease their reentry into society.

The program’s goal is to address the barriers faced during this transition, helping participants build confidence, secure employment, and achieve long-term success.

LEAP’s mission is to empower individuals with the tools and resources needed to rebuild their lives, while its vision is to create a stronger, more inclusive community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
